National Health Research and Training Institute (NHRTI) held an Annual Laboratory Management review meeting on the 17th January, 2025 at FATMOS Hotel, the meeting provided an opportunity to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange by sharing best practices, innovations, and insights that drive excellence in laboratory management and quality assurance.
Additionally, the meeting provided the NHRTI Biomedical department with a chance to identify and address current challenges, explore solutions, and align on strategies to enhance operational efficiency, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and the overall impact of our laboratory services.
This year’s meeting was particularly special as we celebrated not only our collective achievements but also the outstanding contributions of specific teams and individuals. In recognition of their exceptional performance and dedication, the Chemistry Laboratory received an award for most dedicated laboratory in QMS activities, Dickson Kasombwe was awarded for most dedicated innovative employee in QMS activities, and lastly, Elizabeth Kabeta from the Immunology Laboratory was awarded as well.
